Rogla once again at the centre of the global snowboarding

Today, on 31 January 2026, Rogla hosted the VISA FIS Snowboard World Cup for the fourteenth consecutive year, bringing together the world’s best snowboarders in the Parallel Giant Slalom on the Jasa course.
On the excellently prepared competition slope, approximately 130 female and male athletes from 18 countries and four continents competed, once again confirming Rogla’s reputation as one of the most important venues on the Snowboard World Cup calendar.
In the women’s competition, Rogla delivered victory for the third consecutive time to Tsubaki Miki from Japan, who once again proved her outstanding consistency. In the men’s event, the top step of the podium was claimed by Sangho Lee from Korea. The best Slovenian representative, Tim Mastnak, delivered a strong performance to finish in an excellent fourth place, just shy of the podium.

The ceremonial trophy presentation was attended by distinguished guests. The organisers’ invitation was kindly accepted by Marko Lotrič, President of the National Council of the Republic of Slovenia, mag. Boris Podvršnik, Mayor of the Municipality of Zreče, Uroš Zupan, Director of the Ski Association of Slovenia, Tadej Ružič, Executive Director of Unitur, and Tijana Vesel, Head of Marketing at Visa Slovenia.

The Rogla 2026 Organising Committee, together with Unitur employees, proudly notes the positive feedback from athletes, coaches, support teams, media representatives, and numerous visitors. The competition day was marked by an excellently prepared course, loud cheering from many fans, and an outstanding sporting spirit.
This year as well, Rogla once again proved that it ranks among the most experienced and reliable organisers of international snowboarding events, thereby reaffirming the trust of the International Ski Federation (FIS), the Ski Association of Slovenia, and both the domestic and international sporting public.

Such a sporting celebration would not have been possible without the expertise, many years of experience, and dedicated work of the staff of Rogla and Terme Zreče, the support of partners and sponsors, and the exceptional contribution of more than 120 volunteers, including members of the Slovenian Armed Forces. A sincere and heartfelt thank you to everyone involved.
With optimism and momentum, we are already looking ahead—see you next year at the FIS Snowboard World Cup – Rogla 2027!
