Rogla has many years of experience in organizing international snowboard competitions at the highest level, as in addition to the 2016 FIS Junior World Championship and numerous European Cups, it has hosted the FIS Snowboard Alpine World Cup in parallel giant slalom since 2013.

In the first week of March, Rogla will become the center of alpine snowboarding. The world’s best snowboarders will compete on the Jasa ski slope on March 1st and 2nd at the FIS Snowboard Alpine Word Championship and on March 6th at the FIS Snowboard Alpine Word Cup.

Although this year’s competitions, due to the coronavirus epidemic and measures to prevent its spread, will be held according to changed protocols – especially without fans along the track and the finish arena – entry into the society of the world alpine snowboard elite will be possible via television, social networks and other modern communication channels.
